History of Easton Wrestling

This page is a dedicated landing spot for the history of Easton Wrestling. We have compiled results and box scores dating back to the program’s founding in 1947. The records are not complete – tournament boxscores in particular can be elusive, and anybody with results can please share them! This site is meant to be a living document that continues to grow as a more complete history of the program is compiled.

This is also a landing spot for lists and achievements. State, regional, and district champions, tournaments, collegiate success, international wrestling, all star events, in-season tournaments. It all should eventually live here. We’ve compiled a lot, but more is better. Anything can be shared by sending it to eastonwrestlinghistory@gmail.com.

While we have a lot of information, we don’t have many pictures! That can really enliven the site, so please share as well and they will be added to appropriate pages.

Finally, history is not just lists and stats, but the stories behind them. We’ve started to write narratives on the greatest wrestlers in Easton history. Not just state champs, but competitors who made a big imprint on the program with their successes. We’d also like to expand into great seasons, duals, and events.
